Two-way audio enables the encoder and decoder to act as transmitters and receivers of audio in both directions. This means the users can communicate over the IP stream, enabling immediate feedback on the video. Sometimes this is used as an Engineer’s talkback channel.

In most Antrica products, we support AAC and G711 two-way audio with embedded audio. This offers a higher standard of audio transmission than other brands, and has been important to a lot of our clients as the audio quality matches that of the video.

Note: Not all encoders support two-way audio and those that do tend to support G-711 two way and AAC one way.
