The ANT-48100 TRANSCODER is a highly flexible IP to IP transcoder. Featuring up to 4 channels of decoding on one Ethernet port (NIC) and 1 channel of re encoding (Transcoding) on a second Ethernet Port (NIC). This transcoder is intended for IP to IP transcoding without offering any local video inputs or outputs. The Transcoder engine can take up to 4 decoded streams and re encode then as a 1×1 or 2×2 image with a single stream (no secondary stream is available) . The decoder block can decode 1-4 streams then combine them as a quad image or in the case of one decoded stream a single image. These quad and single images can also be scaled to 1080P 720P and 576P resolutions. Additionally the decoder engine can decode URLs or pre recorded video files. SRT decoding is supported.
Once decoded and scaled the images pass to the Encoder engine. The encoder can then re-encode (transcode) these decoded streams as HTTP RTSP RTP MPEG-TS , RTMP and SRT streams on to a completely independent LAN Network Interface. This allows different IP addresses and Subnets to be used for incoming and outgoing streams.
As the Transcoder features two independent Network interfaces it acts as an effective Video stream air gap between two networks.

The ANT-48100 is a complete flexible IP to IP stream transcoder. Capable of transcoding from from any IP address range to any other IP address range and from any HTTP, RTSP, RTP, MPEG-TS RTMP and SRT stream to any other.
As an example: An RTSP stream on 192.168.10.100 can be transcoded to an MPEG-TS stream on 184.108.40.206 IP address without bringing out the video signal. The ANT-48100 has dual Ethernet Network Interface Cards (NIC’s) and so can act as a virtual firewall between two networks (Airgap) .
Up to 4 different streams can be decoded and combined into a 2×2 image and re-streamed as a single stream. Alternatively an incoming stream can be transcoded to a single 1×1 stream. No secondary stream is available so the output is a single stream in all cases (1×1 or 2×2 quad). The output stream can be scaled to 1080P 720P or 576P.
The Decoder block can also connect to URLs with pre recorded files and then transcode these to a real time stream in any of the streaming formats mentioned:HTTP, RTSP, RTP, MPEG-TS RTMP and SRT.
